Product Usage and Principle
HEP-3000 electrostatic precipitator is a honeycomb dust remover, generally installed in main tunnels matching with jet fans or subway tunnels. Without the need to build the wind duct, civil construction cost of HEP-3000 is low. What is more important, HEP-3000 is convenient for installation, operation and maintenance. It has long service life because of corrosion resistant material and automatic cleaning system. In conclusion, HEP-3000 is a economical way of dust removal.
The principle of HEP-3000 will be described as follow:
Firstly, dust gas flow close to the helical spike which powered by 12-15KV high voltage current in the case. Then the particles in the dust gas are charged negative under the effect of High-pressure ionization. Induced voltage and current are generated to dust collecting section(Honeycomb tube). Finally, dust sticks to dust collecting section because of characteristic of positive and negative charge.

Product features
HEP-3000 electrostatic precipitator has the following product features:
1. Dust removal efficiency is more than 90% when the air velocity is between 20m/s and 30m/s. HEP-3000 can operate continuously about 90 minutes at 250℃ smoke condition in order to reduce the fire smoke.
2. Low maintenance cost because of fully automated operation; long service life because of corrosion resistant material and automatic cleaning system.
3. Modular components are much convenient for assembly, disassembly and maintenance.
4. Patent registration certificates are granted in China, Korea, the United States, Japan and Singapore.
Construction features
HEP-3000 electrostatic precipitator is consist of 6 modular components which include safety door, pre-filtration system, high voltage DC power supply pack, honeycomb ESP units, cleaning system, PLC intelligent control system.
1. Safety door: Effectively prevent the large debris into the dust removal system so as to ensure the safe and effective operation of the dust removal system.
2. Pre-filtration system: Can remove the particles size more than PM10 so as to achieve the preliminary filter for air.
3. High voltage DC power supply pack: Provide a stable high pressure for the ionizing part and collecting part of honeycomb ESP unit to ensure that the particles in the air can be charged. Then the dust removal efficiency can be ensured.
4. Honeycomb ESP units: Honeycomb ESP units are the core part of the dust removal system. The unit is consist of helical spike and honeycomb tube. The usage of helical spike with high voltage negative current is to charge the particles. The usage of honeycomb tube is to collect the charged particles.
5. Cleaning system: According to the operating condition of the electrostatic precipitator, cleaning system automatically clean up the honeycomb tube of Honeycomb electrostatic precipitator. Then the accumulated dust is removed.
6. PLC intelligent control system: Set the processes to achieve the intelligent control of the dust removal system according to the traffic flow of the tunnel or the crowd flow situation of the metro platforms.
