On Sep. 15th, 2015, National Standards Commission released National standard of air purifier (no. GB/T 188001-2015). It defined technical specifications, norms and labels of air purifier. It has been put into force since Mar. 1st, 2016.
This new standard standardized the market of air purifier. It defined the technical specifications of air purifiers. Both two indicators include Clean Air Delivery Rate (abbr. CADR ) and Cumulative Clean Mass (abbr. CCM). They refer to purifying capacity and sustainability of purifying capacity accordingly. Moreover, noise levels of air purifier are divided into 4 classes. And this standard also improved the level of energy efficiency of purifying capacity for different pollutants. The levels included qualified and high-efficient.
Besides, this new standard improved test methods of air purifier’s purifying capacity for all kinds of target pollutants. They refer to cumulative purifying amounts for particles and formaldehyde. What is more, it also regulated labeling information on the product specification. The labeling information include name, model, feature, principle, performance indicator, notes for installation and maintenance.
The release of this new standard is successful measure for the standardization of air purifier. It shows the determination of government to resolve the air pollution issue. Improving air quality is not only the awareness of public, but also the responsibility of every enterprise. What Nanfang-RITCO do is to supply the product to offer clean air for public environment, especially the underground and confined space, such as metro and tunnel.
